A message appears notifying that there are no more license available. This happens mostly with the Personal Plus level of Mangofile.
(If you are running a network 3 or business level of Mangofile, then the maximum purchased licenses has been reached, you may need to purchase more licenses).
Reason:
This often happens because the last session of mangofile was not closed properly, due to either one of following:
- Using the cross in the upper right hand corner, which is commonly used to close an application, will in Mangofile bring a message asking you if you would like to run mangofile in the system tray. Most will ignore the message and say Yes, thinking that the application has closed, when in fact it is still running in the background. This then causes problems when the computer is shut down, as Mangofile closes without logging out the user thus using the one only license available.
- The application closes unexpectedly, due to a possible system crash.
Solution:
Because Supervisor is an administrative login, you can override this license error, by simply typing away the Supervisor login detail into the login box* then pressing the Enter key on the keyboard, as the OK button is usually greyed out.
This will log you back into mangofile.
To avoid this there are three solutions:
- Use the Exit button in the top left of the application.
- Say No to the message that appears when using the red cross in the upper right.
- Turn off Minimise to system tray (System> System Configuration, Options tab).
*Mangofile runs an automated login process, where by it will try and automatically match the PC user name to a user name in Mangofile, and this is a five second process. Once it realises that the system after 5 seconds has no licenses available then it may not let you enter any further details. To overcome this, as soon as the login box appears simply type the letter āSā into the user name, this will stop the automated process and fill out Supervisor for you. |
